WeCare Practice was established in March 2021 by two brothers, Joseph and Bonaventure Mbella who are both board certified Adult-Gerontology nurse practitioners with extensive experiences in a wide range of nursing area. Their vision is to provide the best nursing and medical care in USA. For more than two decades, they have been at the forefront of patient-centered healthcare, bringing the highest nursing care standards.

The founder of WellnessMD, is a Family Nurse Practitioner with sixteen years of experience in a field of healthcare. Her love of helping others led her to focus on nursing as her career choice. She proudly served in the United States Navy, first as a corpsman and then as a Navy Nurse Corps officer.
As a Navy nurse she worked in a large military hospitals in various settings, including trauma center for wounded-worriers, neurosurgery, transplant, inpatient neurology and neonatal intensive care unit.
While in service she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University. She later returned to Johns Hopkins University to earn her Masters of Science in Nursing.
After the graduation from her Family Nurse Practitioner program, she worked in interventional pain managemnet practice and Johns Hopkins Community Physicians where she piloted Virtual Care Center which helped to improve access to care for thousands of patients.
Working in both pain management and primary care, made Mariya realize that the majority of the chronic health issues seen in both settings stem from the extra weight on the body. Not being able to lose weight could be indicative of an underlying issue.
Her desire to offer more specialized care led her to open her own clinic. Mariya is the founder and owner of WellnessMD, a private medical clinic specializing in medical weight loss, hormone testosterone replacement therapy, nutritional consultations, also offering IV infusions, labrotory and drug testing. WellnessMD Clinic perfectly aligns with Mariya’s mantra that the effective cure lies in getting to the root of the problem.
The emphasis is on the individual; every person is different. The clinic provides one-on-one consultation and close monitoring to help you succeed in your wellness journey.
